Peter Hine,
our youngest volunteer crewmember and one of NYC 3's greatest supporters,
passed away in early 2012 after suffering a catastrophic stroke on the
Metro North commuter platform. Here, he's enjoying the Nevada desert at

On a spring
2012 trip to New Orleans, our client was also a Culinary Institute of
America gourmet chef and prepared all on-board meals. Some were almost
too pretty to eat! |

Sometimes strange
obstacles force cancellation of trips. In this case, Hurricane Sandy deposited
a small ship on the tracks--along with thousands of trees and flood waters.
We never came close to making it to Savannah because all rail service
into and out of New York was cancelled for a week in Oct. 2012. |
